1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to every service call placed with Salazar Roadside Assistance ("we", "us") by any customer ("you") in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Austin and the other Texas areas we publish on our service areas page. Placing a service call means you accept these terms.

2. Scope of service

We provide mobile roadside assistance: flat tire repair and replacement, mobile tire service, jump starts, battery testing and replacement, fuel delivery, vehicle lockouts, specialty wheel work and related light mechanical assistance performed at your vehicle's location.

We are not a repair shop and we do not perform diagnostics, engine work, transmission work, body repair or key cutting and programming. Where a problem is outside our scope we will say so on site and recommend the appropriate provider.

3. Quotes, rates and payment

Rates are flat and quoted before a technician is dispatched. A $19 dispatch fee applies to each call, with no night, weekend or holiday premium. Published service rates appear on our pricing page.

If conditions on arrival differ materially from what was described on the phone — a different vehicle, an inaccessible location, additional damage — the technician will re-quote before performing the work. You may decline at that point and pay only the dispatch fee.

Payment is due on completion of the work by card or the electronic methods our technicians accept.

4. Cancellation and no-shows

You may cancel at any time before a technician is dispatched at no charge. Once a technician has been dispatched and is en route, the dispatch fee may be charged. If the vehicle or an authorised person is not present when the technician arrives and we cannot reach you, the call is treated as a cancellation after dispatch.

5. Vehicle access and ownership

For lockout service you must present identification and evidence that you are the owner, an authorised driver, or otherwise entitled to access the vehicle. Our technicians may decline any lockout call where ownership cannot be established.

You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is in a location where work can be performed lawfully and safely. Where a location is unsafe — a live traffic lane, an unstable shoulder, a flooded roadway — we may require the vehicle to be relocated before work begins.

6. Warranty on work performed

Tire repairs we install are warranted against failure of the repair itself for the remaining service life of the tire in the repaired area. Batteries we supply carry the manufacturer's warranty, which we will provide details of at the time of installation.

Warranty does not cover subsequent damage, further punctures, damage from continuing to drive on a deflated tire, or components we did not supply or install.

7. Limitation of liability

Our technicians follow accepted practice for every service we perform, including manufacturer lift points and torque specifications. To the extent permitted by Texas law, our total liability arising from any service call is limited to the amount paid for that call.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, for damage arising from a defect or condition we identified and advised you about, or for losses arising from your decision to decline recommended work.

8. Arrival estimates

Arrival windows given by dispatch are estimates based on technician location and traffic at the time of the call. Weather, incident traffic and call volume can extend them. An arrival estimate is not a guarantee and does not form part of the priced service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. The version published on this page at the time of your service call is the version that applies to it.
