A tow is the honest answer when the vehicle will not run under its own power or cannot be driven safely — a seized engine, a failed transmission, a broken belt, sidewall damage with no usable spare, or a collision.
We will tell you which situation you are in before anyone is dispatched, because paying for a tow you did not need is the fastest way to lose a customer for good.

- At night, stay belted inside the vehicle with the doors locked — standing on a DFW shoulder is the real danger, not the breakdown.
