Quick answer
Salazar Roadside Assistance focuses on on-site repair, and most DFW calls end without a tow. When a vehicle genuinely cannot be driven, we coordinate a tow 24/7 to the repair shop, dealership or home address you choose. Call (469) 606-2575.
When a tow is actually the right call
A tow is the honest answer when the vehicle will not run under its own power or cannot be driven safely — a seized engine, a failed transmission, a broken belt, sidewall damage with no usable spare, or a collision.
We will tell you which situation you are in before anyone is dispatched, because paying for a tow you did not need is the fastest way to lose a customer for good.
What we do not do
We do not talk you into a tow to hit a bigger ticket. If a plug, a battery or five gallons of fuel solves the problem where you sit, that is what we do.
Where we tow to
Your choice: an independent shop, a dealership service department, a tire shop or your own driveway. If you have no preference, we can suggest options near you and let you decide.
- Independent repair shops
- Dealership service departments
- Tire and battery retailers
- Your home or workplace
- Body shops after a collision
- Storage or impound release
How the call works
- 1Call and describe what the vehicle is doing — noises, warning lights, whether it moves at all.
- 2We tell you honestly whether this is a roadside fix or a tow.
- 3If it is a tow, we quote it and confirm the destination you want.
- 4A truck is dispatched and you get an arrival window.
- 5Your vehicle is loaded, secured and delivered to the address you chose.

Answers
Towing Service questions, answered
Do you tow vehicles yourselves or coordinate it?
We are a mobile repair operation first. When a tow is required we coordinate it with a trusted operator and stay involved until your vehicle is where it needs to be.
How much does a tow cost in DFW?
It depends on distance, vehicle type and the loading situation. You get the number on the phone before anything is dispatched.
Can you tow an all-wheel-drive vehicle or an EV?
Yes. AWD vehicles and EVs generally need a flatbed rather than a wheel-lift, and we specify that when arranging the tow.
Will you tow after an accident?
Yes, once the scene is safe and any police report is handled. Tell us if the vehicle is not rolling or steering so the right equipment is sent.
Can you tow my car if I cannot be there?
In most cases yes, with a phone authorization and access to the vehicle and keys. We confirm the details with you before pickup.
