Quick answer

Salazar Roadside Assistance handles flat tires anywhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, 24 hours a day. On arrival we determine whether the tire can be repaired, needs your spare, or is simply low on air, and we do that job — you are not charged for a service the tire did not need.

Stay safe first

Get fully onto the shoulder or into a parking area before you stop, put the hazards on, and stay belted inside the vehicle if you are on a highway. Standing beside a car on I-30 at night is the real danger, not the flat.

What causes most DFW flats

Construction debris is the leading cause across the Metroplex. Roofing screws and nails from truck beds, expansion-joint edges and pothole impacts after heavy rain account for most of what we pull out of tires.

  • Roofing nails and screws in the tread
  • Debris punctures on I-30, I-35 and I-635
  • Pothole and curb impacts
  • Valve stem and TPMS leaks
  • Slow leaks from bead corrosion
  • Heat-related pressure loss in summer

How the call works

  1. 1Get to a safe spot, hazards on, and call with your location and vehicle.
  2. 2Tell us what you can see — visible object, sidewall bulge, or just a low warning light.
  3. 3The technician inspects the tire on arrival and confirms the right fix.
  4. 4We repair, install your spare, or air it up and set pressures — then you drive off.

Answers

Flat Tire Assistance questions, answered

Should I keep driving on a flat to get somewhere safer?

Move only far enough to be out of live traffic. Driving on a fully deflated tire destroys the sidewall and turns a repairable tire into a replacement.

Do you come out for a slow leak?

Yes. A slow leak is often a valve stem or a small tread puncture, and both are repairable on site.

Will you fix it or just change it?

Whichever the tire needs. Tread punctures get repaired; sidewall damage gets the spare or a replacement.

Do you carry replacement tires?

We can source common sizes. Give us the size from the sidewall when you call.

How much is flat tire assistance?

Quoted on the phone before dispatch, with no night or weekend surcharge.
