How a damage-free unlock actually works
The technician creates a small, controlled gap at the top corner of the door with a protective wedge, then works a coated reach tool inside to pull the interior handle or press the unlock button. Nothing is pried against the paint, the glass is never touched with a tool and the weather seal goes back exactly as it was.
Older keyed vehicles, modern push-button cars and vans with electronic latches each need a different approach. Tell the dispatcher the year, make and model so the right tools are on the truck.

What we do not do
We are not a locksmith shop. We do not cut keys, program fobs or replace ignition cylinders. If your key is lost rather than locked inside, we can still open the vehicle so you can retrieve belongings, but you will need a dealer or locksmith for a replacement key.

The technician will ask to see identification and something tying you to the vehicle — registration, insurance card, or matching name once the door is open. It takes ten seconds and it is the reason this service stays legitimate.

Will popping the lock damage my door or paint?
No. Protective wedges spread the load across the frame and the reach tool is coated. Done correctly there is no mark on the paint, no bent frame and no damaged seal — that is the whole point of the tooling.
How much does a pop a lock cost in DFW?
$65 for a standard keyed vehicle, $75 for push-button start and $89 for luxury and European models, plus the $19 flat dispatch fee. No night or weekend premium.
Can you open the trunk if the keys are locked in there?
Usually yes. On most vehicles we open the cabin first and release the trunk from the interior latch or the fold-down seats. Dedicated trunk-only locks on some sedans need a different approach and we will tell you on the phone.
My child is locked in the car — what should I do?
Call 911 first if the child is in distress or the vehicle is hot, then call us and say a child is inside. We move that call to the front of the queue and dispatch the closest technician immediately.
