Quick answer

Salazar Roadside Assistance services Tesla tires at your location across Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Austin. We use the factory jack points with pucks to protect the battery pack, handle acoustic foam-lined tires correctly, repair tread punctures where the foam allows and deliver replacements when it does not, then relearn TPMS before we leave. Repairs are $35-$45; a delivered tire is $129-$189 installed.

Jack points are not optional on a Tesla

Every Tesla carries its battery pack in the floor, and the lift points are four reinforced pads with rubber pucks. Putting a jack on the pinch weld or anywhere along the sill deforms the pack rail — a repair that runs into thousands. Our technicians carry the pucks and use them.

This is the single most common reason a well-meaning bystander with a bottle jack turns a flat tire into an expensive body-shop visit.

  • Factory lift-point pucks used on every Tesla lift
  • Acoustic foam-lined tires handled without tearing the liner
  • Tread punctures repaired where the foam permits a proper patch
  • Replacement tires sourced in Model 3, Y, S and X sizes
  • TPMS relearn performed so the dash clears before we leave

Foam-lined tires change the repair rules

Most Tesla tires have a strip of acoustic foam bonded inside to cut road noise. A conventional patch cannot go straight over it — the foam has to be cut back cleanly around the injury and the patch applied to bare liner. Done wrong, the repair lifts and the tire leaks again within a week.

Some punctures near the foam seam are not repairable at all. We tell you which you have on arrival instead of patching over the problem.

No spare, so plan for the replacement

Teslas ship with a mobility kit, not a spare wheel. When the tire is beyond repair the only options are a delivered replacement or a tow. Give the dispatcher the size off the sidewall and, if you know it, whether the tire is a Tesla-specific 'T0' or 'TO' marked fitment.

How the call works

  1. 1Call with the model, the wheel size and the tire that failed.
  2. 2We confirm whether the tire is foam-lined and quote repair or replacement.
  3. 3The technician lifts the car on the factory pucks at the correct points.
  4. 4The tire is repaired or replaced, torqued to spec, and TPMS is relearned.

Answers

Tesla Tire Service questions, answered

Can a Tesla tire with acoustic foam be repaired?

Often yes. The foam is cut back around the injury and the patch goes onto clean liner. Punctures too close to the shoulder, or damage to the foam seam itself, are not repairable and need a replacement.

Where are the jack points on a Model 3 or Model Y?

Four reinforced pads behind the front wheels and ahead of the rear wheels, used with rubber pucks. Jacking anywhere else risks the battery pack rail, which is why we bring our own pucks.

Do you carry Tesla tire sizes?

We source common Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X sizes to your location, $129-$189 installed depending on size and fitment.

Will my TPMS light clear after the repair?

Yes. We relearn the sensors after the wheel goes back on and confirm the pressure display is reading correctly before we leave.
